After discovering my French name: Michelle Park (yes, I i’m keeping the ‘k’ version of my name because it looks nicer) my next step is to find out the essential traits of a French woman. As mentioned before, I don’t have a desire to learn the French language, but I do want to learn how to be a graceful and beautiful French woman. Maybe I just want to be chic.
Okay, so here we go.
First step is research. Between Google, the Library*, Amazon.com and the University Book Shop (UBS) I think I’ve settled on a list of ten topics that can help me achieve transformation from me to French (in no particular order):
- Wardrobe
- Food
- Opinion
- Romance
- Health
- Intellect
- Hair and skincare
- Attitude
- Transportation
- Money
Hopefully by the end of this odyssey** I’ll have developed a certain je ne said quois that I’ll prefer.
*I didn’t really go to the Library.
**Let’s face it, we all know I’ll never finish this but I reckon even by dipping in a bit here and there I might be able to make enough of a change to make it worth the paper it’s written on. Thank goodness “being French” doesn’t hinge on finishing stuff!
