These remarkable (my new favourite word) "creatures" by kinetic sculptor, Theo Jansen, reminds me of one of the classic SuperNets (or the Internet as it was known back then) websites, Soda Play (which isn't quite same animal as yester-years).

Fostering monarch caterpillars! We haven’t had butterflies in the garden for years. Too many wasps eating eggs and caterpillars so now we have twenty carefully housed in a “caterpillar castle” and hope to release butterflies into the garden.
